Amazon Watch’s 10th Annual Luncheon

September 22nd, 2015 | Photo Gallery

Thank you to all who joined Amazon Watch at our 10th Annual Luncheon at the gorgeous Bently Reserve in San Francisco. It was a special opportunity to celebrate our accomplishments, learn more about the plans for the coming year and support our work.

Patricia Gualinga, an inspiring leader from the Kichwa community of Sarayaku in the Ecuadorian Amazon, was our honored guest. Our new Executive Director, Leila Salazar-López and Annie Leonard, event Co-Chair and ED of Greenpeace, discussed our critical work in partnership with indigenous communities to protect the Amazon and promote solutions to the global climate crisis.

Couldn’t make it? You can still watch videos from the program, download a digital copy of the brand new Amazon in Focus and support our courageous partners in the Amazon by joining us here to help us take this work even further. We truly couldn’t do this without you and we are immensely grateful for your continued support.

Many thanks to photographer Rucha Chitnis!
