Stop the Ferrogrão Mega-Railway Through the Amazon!

The Ferrogrão, a planned industrial railway designed to speed soy and corn exports from the Amazon and Cerrado to global markets, would cut through protected forests, driving deforestation, illegal land grabbing, and violence against Indigenous communities.

The Brazilian government is under pressure from international commodity traders and a powerful agribusiness sector to ram forward a mega-project that serves their needs at the expense of Indigenous peoples, climate stability, and our collective wellbeing .
