Eric Terena is an internationally recognized DJ from the Terena people of Cachoeirinha Indigenous Territory in Brazil’s Pantanal region. He blends ancestral roots with modern electronic elements to create sound with social impact. Eric’s performances fuse nature, Indigenous music, and electronic soundscapes to celebrate the strength and resilience of Indigenous peoples. Eric’s work and activism has brought him global recognition as an ambassador for Indigenous and climate justice movements. He participates in Youth4Climate, collaborating with young activists worldwide to raise awareness about the impacts of climate change. He also co-founded Mídia Índígena, a communications network dedicated to grassroots, community-centered advocacy journalism, covering Indigenous rights and environmental issues across Latin America and beyond. Eric is the executive producer of the award-winning film YANUNI and a sound designer for activist films.
