Amazon Watch

Feeling Supernatural? Give today to defend the Amazon!

Misha Collins and Alex Calvert from Supernatural are raising funds to protect the Amazon in solidarity with Indigenous peoples! Last summer, Alex joined Amazon Watch in the Brazilian Amazon to see what’s at stake and meet with Indigenous peoples defending the rainforest and our climate. Help Alex and Misha meet their $50,000 goal.

All donations support Indigenous peoples protecting the heart of our planet. Thank you!

A message from Alex (Jack Kline) and Misha (Castiel):
On Supernatural, we both played characters who fought apocalyptic threats to humanity. But in the real world, we’re currently facing a real-life apocalypse: the destruction of the Amazon rainforest.

As you probably know, the Amazon rainforest is critical for climate regulation. It’s one of the world’s largest carbon sinks and is known as the “heart pump of the planet.” It’s also home to Indigenous communities who steward and defend the rainforest and the over 3 million species and 1/3 of the world’s land plants and animals who live there. If we don’t support Indigenous Defenders of the Amazon, not only will those Indigenous people and a third of the world’s terrestrial species lose their homes, but we’ll be facing a worldwide environmental catastrophe.

This is one real-world apocalypse that we can fight back and stop. But we need your help.
Right now, Indigenous communities in the Amazon rainforest are fighting for recognition of land rights and the right to protect their land. If we join them in solidarity, not only will we support their fight to protect their ancestral homelands, but we’ll protect the rainforest from cataclysmic destruction that threatens the lives of millions of species and will impact every single person in the world.

Last summer, Alex traveled to Indigenous lands in the heart of the Brazilian Amazon to show you exactly what’s at stake. Now, we’re aiming to raise $50,000 to support Indigenous Earth Defenders in partnership with Amazon Watch. These funds will help Indigenous Amazonian peoples defend their land and protect one of Earth’s most vital ecosystems. Please chip in to help us halt rainforest destruction and advance climate justice. It’s the only planet we’ve got, so let’s fight for it.

We’ve got work to do. Thank you!
