The communities have developed a new proposal based on the agreements from Friday, 13th. This proposal was given to the government on the evening of Sunday, 15th. The government is evaluating it and we are awaiting their response in order to have a meeting with high government authorities and to agree on final documents which will guarantee the agreements reached with the government. Therefore, we will continue our current measures.”

COMUNICADO APUS DEL RIO CORRIENTES
Desde la batería de producción de Jibarito, distrito de Trompeteros, Provincia de Alto Amazonas, los Apus de las comunidades Achuar que están tomando pacíficamente los pozos de la empresa Plus Petrol en reclamo por sus derechos a la salud, la vida y el territorio, han hecho llegar, via telefónica, el siguiente pronunciamiento:
“Hemos evaluado las Resoluciones Ministeriales y se reconoce importantes avances, sin embargo consideramos que faltan algunos aspectos para que garanticen el cumplimiento de los compromisos, porque en algunos casos no se ha incluido la entidad ejecutora, el presupuesto de ser el caso, o el plazo de ejecución.
Las comunidades han elaborado una nueva propuesta en base al acta de acuerdo del viernes 13, esta propuesta ya fue remitida al Gobierno el día Domingo 15 en la Noche, el Gobierno está evaluando nuestras precisiones y estamos a la espera de su respuesta para tener una reunión definitiva con las altas autoridades del Estado y acordar los documentos finales, que permitan garantizar los acuerdos alcanzados con el Estado. Mantendremos nuestras medidas hasta entonces.”
