99% Spring Protest Outside Chevron Shareholder Meeting – May 30th, 2012

From Ecuador to Nigeria to Brazil to Australia to right here in Chevron's own backyard, communities the world over have suffered the impacts of Chevron's reckless pursuit of profits.

On May 30th, people will travel from around the world to descend on San Ramon, CA to confront Chevron at its annual shareholder meeting.

Amazon Watch Annual Luncheon – October 15th, 2012

A celebration of this year's achievements for the people and rainforests of the Amazon and the launch of new initiatives to advance alternatives to large dams in the Brazilian Amazon, secure land rights for indigenous peoples in Peru, and bring clean water to oil affected communities in Ecuador.

Amazon Watch's Spring 2012 "Green-Bag Lunch" Series in Washington, DC

How is the protection of human rights crucial to defending our environment? Through the lens of the iconic Amazon basin, we will be examining the current day threats to both the rainforest and her peoples.
