Violence against the Earth and against women go hand in hand. We resist this violence by working in direct solidarity with women defenders of the Amazon, accompanying them not only in moments of risk but all along the way.
Amazon Watch is seeking $10,000 in support of our work with Indigenous women at risk like Olivia Bisa of Peru. Next Month Olivia will travel with Amazon Watch to New York to confront the banks financing the oil extraction in the Peruvian Amazon. Help support her travel and security to protect her from those who threaten her for speaking out!
