The Amazon Communications Team joined the Pemon indians in the Gran Sabana in Venezuela, where the Pemon are protesting the construction of the Guri powerline. The teams goals: To document first hand the struggles of the indigenous people of Venezuela and throughout the Amazon, the dissemination of news releases to the international press and support of the indigenous peoples.
